What actually matters

This is the main difference. Axia's own page says its typical client is "mostly interested in earning (unpaid) speaking engagements". That is a legitimate goal: a founder or executive speaking at industry conferences for credibility and pipeline, as part of a broader PR plan. If that is you, a PR agency is a natural fit.

If you are a professional speaker and the fee is the business, you want outreach aimed at events with speaker budgets: corporate meetings, association annual conferences, leadership programs. That is what our outreach is built for. Keith Ferrazzi's campaigns targeted CIOs at major corporations and produced, in his words, "somewhere close to 81 qualified leads".

Retainer plus bonuses vs no cut of your fee

Axia publishes a monthly membership of $2,250, plus booking bonuses in tiers of $750, $2,000 and $5,000. For paid gigs, the page describes a bonus of "20% of the client's speaking fee, or the tier rate", while its FAQ mentions 10%, so ask which applies. Over a year, the membership alone is $27,000 before bonuses. Hop On Stages does not take a commission or booking bonus. Our outreach is quoted separately as its own engagement, based on your goals.

The reel

Axia offers photos and a reel as an add-on at $15,000 to $20,000 plus your travel expenses, which reflects a filmed production. We edit cinematic reels from footage you already have for $3,000 flat, as a separate service. If you have usable keynote footage, that is a very different cost.

Commitment

Axia asks for 90 days' notice to cancel the membership. Ask any provider, including us, what the minimum term is before you sign.

What Axia Public Relations is

Axia Public Relations is a PR agency that offers a done-for-you speaking engagement service alongside its media relations work. It publishes its pricing clearly: a Speaker Membership with up to 3 opportunities per month, one-time project options such as a $12,500 Pitch project, and a photos plus reel add-on. It has a real pitch team and agency resources behind it. For see-and-be-seen speaking as part of PR, it is a credible option.

Questions people ask

How much does Axia PR charge for speaking engagements?

Its Speaker Membership is $2,250 per month plus booking bonuses ($750, $2,000 or $5,000 by tier), with a 90-day cancellation notice. A one-time Pitch project is $12,500. Prices checked October 21, 2026.

Does Axia PR book paid speaking gigs?

Its page says the typical client is mostly interested in earned (unpaid) engagements, and it describes a bonus on paid gigs. If paid keynotes are your goal, ask how many of their placements are paid.

Does Hop On Stages take a commission?

No. We are not a bureau and we do not charge booking bonuses. Outreach is quoted separately as its own engagement.

Is Axia's reel add-on the same as a Hop On Stages reel?

Not quite. Axia's add-on is photos plus a reel at $15,000 to $20,000 plus travel, which suggests filming. We edit reels from footage you already have, at $3,000 flat.
