What actually matters
Is your talk ready?
This is the first question. If you are still shaping your signature talk, your positioning or your offer, coaching should come before outreach. Pitching an unclear talk to a program chair wastes the one shot you get with that person. Speak to Scale's model starts there, with a $2,500 Blueprint Intensive and optional presentation development at $5k to $7,500.
If your talk is proven and audiences already respond to it, you probably do not need to pay for coaching again. You need more of the right people to see it. That is what our outreach does.
Broad management vs one focused job
Speaker management bundles many things: pitching, representation, PR, strategy. That is convenient, and some speakers want one partner for all of it. The trade-off is that you pay a monthly retainer for the whole bundle, starting at $2,500/month on Speak to Scale's page. Hop On Stages does one job: research events, find the decision-maker, pitch you with your reel, follow up, and hand interested replies to you.
The reel
Speak to Scale does not publish reel production. Whatever pitching you buy, the planner watches your video before replying. We make speaker reels as our core service, so your outreach and your reel are built by the same team.
Results you can check
Ask both providers for named results. Ours: Keith Ferrazzi's CIO-focused campaigns produced, in his words, "somewhere close to 81 qualified leads"; Steve Taubman received a paid invitation to speak at a professional society's annual meeting in New York City; Doug Noll's workshop was selected for a statewide summit. We do not guarantee bookings, and you should be wary of anyone who does.
What Speak to Scale Agency is
Speak to Scale Agency is a speaker coaching and management agency. Its services page lists a Blueprint Intensive, Presentation Development and Speaker Management, which includes opportunity scouting and pitching, representation and PR, and is available after the intensive. It suits speakers who want guidance on their talk and business along with someone pitching them.
Using both
Some speakers do coaching first and outreach second. If you work with a coach on your talk, our outreach can run once the talk is ready. For more options, see the speaker booking services roundup.
Which one should you choose?
Speak to Scale is the better choice if
- Your talk or positioning still needs development
- You want coaching, representation and PR in one relationship
- You want a long-term manager, not a campaign
- A monthly retainer from $2,500 fits your budget
Hop On Stages is the better choice if
- Your talk is proven and you need more conversations
- You do not want to pay for coaching you no longer need
- You want the reel and the outreach built by the same team
- You want a focused outreach campaign quoted on your goals
Questions people ask
How much does Speak to Scale Agency cost?
Its services page lists a Blueprint Intensive at $2,500, Presentation Development at $5k to $7,500 and Speaker Management "starting at $2500/month" after the intensive. Checked October 21, 2026.
Is a speaker management agency better than outreach?
It depends on what you are missing. If you need coaching and a long-term partner, management fits. If your talk is ready and you need more conversations with decision-makers, focused outreach is usually more direct.
Does Hop On Stages coach speakers?
No. We edit speaker reels and run booking outreach. If your talk needs work, a coach is the right first step.
Can I work with a coach and Hop On Stages?
Yes. Coaching shapes the talk; we build the reel and pitch it.
