How to judge a speaker reel company
Before the list, the criteria. A speaker reel has one job: get a planner or bureau agent to shortlist you. Planners watch many reels, often with the sound off for the first few seconds, and they are looking for proof that you can hold a real room, that your message fits their audience, and that you are low risk to book. So we judged each company on what affects that outcome, and on what affects you as a buyer.
1. Do they decide the story, or just cut it?
The difference between a $100 marketplace edit and a specialist reel is mostly judgment: which 10 seconds open the reel, which moments prove you can move an audience, which ideas make your keynote distinct. A specialist reviews your footage and builds a narrative. A generalist cuts what you point at. Read what to include in a speaker reel for the structure that works.
2. Do they film, edit, or both?
If you already have recordings of real talks, you do not need to pay for a crew. If you have nothing usable, you need a company that films, or a local videographer plus an editor. Some studios publish filming packages with set prices; others, including us, film on a custom quote. This single question explains most of the price spread below. See how to make a speaker reel without professional footage.
3. Is the price published, and what does it include?
Only some companies publish prices. Among those that do, compare length, footage limits, revisions and social cuts, not just the headline number. Our speaker reel cost guide lists every published price we found.
4. How fast, and is the timeline stated?
Stated turnarounds range from 5 business days to about 2 months. If you have a bureau submission or an event season coming, this matters more than you think.
5. Real audiences and honest footage
Planners trust real crowds reacting. Staged audiences and AI-generated scenes are a growing concern on the planner side, so ask how any staged footage is labelled. See how event planners evaluate speaker reels.
6. What happens after the reel?
A reel nobody sees books nothing. Almost every company on this list stops at delivery. We note which ones offer any help getting the reel in front of buyers.

| Company | Films or edits | Published price | Turnaround | Booking help |

The best speaker reel companies, ranked
Ranked for a working keynote speaker who wants a reel that gets them booked. We make the first one, so weigh our ranking accordingly; its drawbacks are listed like everyone else's.
1.Hop On Stagesours
Best for: Speakers who already have footage and want a 2 to 5 minute story reel, plus the option of booking outreach
Pricing: $3,000 flat per reel, 50% to begin, 50% on completion
Hop On Stages edits cinematic, story-first reels from footage you already have: keynote recordings, event clips, interviews, podcast video and testimonials. Every reel is $3,000 flat, paid 50% to begin, 50% on completion, and includes story structure, sound design, color, motion graphics, a vertical social cut and two rounds of revisions. We have made reels for 50+ speakers, including Keith Ferrazzi, Nick Sonnenberg, Kian Gohar and Sam Silverstein. We are also the only company we found that runs a separate done-for-you outreach program that pitches you to event organizers with the reel. Details: speaker reel production.
What works
- One flat $3,000 for a 2 to 5 minute story reel, whatever the length the story needs
- We review all the footage you send; no per-tier footage caps
- Sound design, color, motion graphics, a vertical social cut and two rounds of revisions included
- Optional done-for-you booking outreach that leads with your new reel
Watch out for
- Filming is custom-quoted, not a published package: we film or book a local crew when you need new footage, priced on top of the flat edit
- Turnaround is 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the queue, so it is not the fastest option
- No cheaper short-reel tier: a 60 to 90 second reel costs the same flat price
- Booking outreach is a separate engagement, quoted separately
- No third-party review profile (G2, Clutch, Trustpilot) yet, so judge us on the published reels
2.Speaker Sizzle Reel
Best for: Speakers who want the lowest published specialist price or delivery in about a week
Pricing: Essential Reel $1,500 (60 to 90 seconds); Signature Reel $2,950 (2 to 3 minutes, 60-second social cut); Premium Story Reel $5,000 (3 to 4 minutes). Add-ons include 48-hour rush $300, extra social cut $197, topic trailer $597 (checked October 21, 2026)
Speaker Sizzle Reel is a remote, speaker-only editing studio led by creative producer Anas Sheraz. It has the most transparent pricing in the market: $1,500 for 60 to 90 seconds, $2,950 for 2 to 3 minutes with a social cut, $5,000 for a 3 to 4 minute story reel, delivered in 5, 7 or 10 business days. Each tier caps the footage it reviews. It claims 200+ reels, and notes that its logo wall is not endorsements. Compare: Hop On Stages vs Speaker Sizzle Reel.
What works
- Transparent, published tiers
- Fast turnaround (5 to 10 business days)
- Cheapest specialist entry point at $1,500 for a 60 to 90 second reel
Watch out for
- A 2 to 3 minute reel is the $2,950 tier; 3 to 4 minutes is $5,000
- Footage limits per tier (for example up to 60 minutes of footage on Essential)
- No booking or outreach service published
3.Motivational Media
Best for: Speakers who need filming and editing from one experienced producer at a published price

Matt Bauer has produced speaker video for 20+ years. The $3,500 Speaker Reel Package includes a 2:00 to 2:30 reel, a 60 to 90 second sizzle and 3 to 5 vertical cuts, with two revision rounds. What works
- Keynote-only specialization
- Full production, including staged filming when you have no footage
- Long-form reels (their examples run roughly 4 to 6.5 minutes)

What you should expect to pay
From the published prices above, three bands emerge:
- $1,500 to $5,000: a specialist edit of your existing footage. Speaker Sizzle Reel's tiers ($1,500 / $2,950 / $5,000), Motivational Media's reel package ($3,500) and Hop On Stages ($3,000 flat) sit here.
- $2,500 to $6,500: a filmed package. Bondars Video Starter ($2,500), Journey Light Visuals (from $1,500 to $4,500), Motivational Media all in ($6,000) and Speakers Reels (CAD $6,150 plus HST).
- $5,500 and up: multi-video or agency production. Bondars Video Pro and Thought Leader ($5,500 and $12,500), and Axia PR's photos plus reel add-on at $15,000 to $20,000 plus travel.
Below the bands, Fiverr gigs start around $50 to $70, but you supply the story. Four of the ten companies here (Outspeak, Speaker's Cut, Cicospace, and Gusai Media via calculator) do not list a price on the page, so you will need a call or a quote. For the full breakdown, read how much a speaker reel costs.
Red flags when choosing
- No complete reels to watch. Ask for two or three full reels from speakers in a topic close to yours.
- Every reel looks the same. Template openers and stock music suggest the company is not building a story around you.
- No real audiences. If most of the footage is staged or generated, planners notice. See AI speaker reels.
- Vague timelines. Get the turnaround in writing before you pay a deposit.
- Pressure to film when you have footage. If you have recordings of real talks, start with an edit. Our guide on how to choose a speaker reel company has a full checklist.
Methodology
We searched for companies that make speaker reels for keynote speakers in the US and Canada, then read each one's own website on October 21, 2026: services, pricing pages, FAQs, turnaround statements and named clients. We did not mystery-shop quotes, so where a company does not publish a price we say "not published" rather than guess. We ranked for a working keynote speaker who wants to get booked, weighting story judgment, value for a 2 to 4 minute reel, whether filming is required, stated turnaround, and help after delivery. Companies we looked at but did not rank include SPKR Studio (no published price, location or turnaround), TPA Productions, Solhaus Media, Primeau Productions and SpeakerShowreels.com in Australia. Freelance marketplaces are covered in the best speaker reel editors.
We make the first company on this list. We have tried to make that obvious rather than hide it, and to say plainly where others are the better fit. If a fact here is out of date, write to hello@hoponstages.com and we will correct it.
Reels from the #1 pick
Every reel below was edited from footage the speaker already had. Judge us on these, the same way you should judge anyone on this list.
Questions people ask
What is the best speaker reel company?
For speakers who already have footage of real talks, our pick is Hop On Stages: a 2 to 5 minute story reel for $3,000 flat in about 2 to 3 weeks, plus optional booking outreach (we make it, so weigh that). For the lowest specialist price or fastest delivery, Speaker Sizzle Reel. If you need filming, Motivational Media.
Who should I hire to make my speaker reel?
Start with what footage you have. If you have recordings of real talks, hire a specialist that edits from your footage (Hop On Stages, Speaker Sizzle Reel, Gusai Media). If you do not, hire a company with published filming packages (Motivational Media, Bondars Video, Journey Light Visuals), a production house (Cicospace, Speaker's Cut), or have a local videographer film your next talk and an editor cut it. Hop On Stages can also film or book a local crew on a custom quote.
How much does a professional speaker reel cost?
Published specialist prices run from $1,500 to $5,000 to edit your footage, and from about $2,500 to $6,500 for a filmed package, with multi-video productions to $12,500 and more. See the cost guide.
How long does it take to make a speaker reel?
Stated turnarounds range from 5 business days (Speaker Sizzle Reel Essential) to about 2 months (Outspeak to final). Hop On Stages is 2 to 3 weeks; Motivational Media is 4 to 6 weeks.
Do any speaker reel companies also help you get booked?
Hop On Stages runs a separate done-for-you booking outreach program that pitches you to event organizers with your reel. Among the reel companies we reviewed, we found no other that publishes a done-for-you outreach service.
How long should a speaker reel be?
Most planners expect about 2 to 4 minutes, with the strongest moment in the first 10 seconds. Our published reels run 2:10 to 4:54. See how long a speaker reel should be.
