The best Outspeak alternatives, with real prices

Outspeak is a well-known speaker reel studio with a clear storytelling method and real visibility in the National Speakers Association community. Speakers look for alternatives mostly for two reasons: Outspeak does not publish a price, and its own stated timeline runs to about two months for the final reel.

The options

Ranked for a speaker who has footage of real talks and wants a reel that sells to planners. Our entry is first, with its drawbacks.

  1. 1.Hop On Stagesours

Best for: Speakers who want a published flat price, a 2 to 3 week turnaround and the option of booking outreach

Pricing: $3,000 flat per reel, 50% to begin, 50% on completion

Hop On Stages edits story-first reels from footage you already have, for $3,000 flat (50% to begin, 50% on completion). Reels typically run 2 to 5 minutes, with sound design, color, motion graphics, a vertical cut and two rounds of revisions. Like Outspeak, we think about what happens after the reel: we run a separate done-for-you outreach program that pitches you to event organizers with it. Like Outspeak, we can arrange filming (ourselves or a crew local to you), though for us it is a custom quote on top of the flat edit.

    What works

    • One flat $3,000 for a 2 to 5 minute story reel, whatever the length the story needs
    • We review all the footage you send; no per-tier footage caps
    • Sound design, color, motion graphics, a vertical social cut and two rounds of revisions included
    • Optional done-for-you booking outreach that leads with your new reel

    Watch out for

    • Filming is custom-quoted, not a published package: we film or book a local crew when you need new footage, priced on top of the flat edit
    • Turnaround is 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the queue, so it is not the fastest option
    • No cheaper short-reel tier: a 60 to 90 second reel costs the same flat price
    • Booking outreach is a separate engagement, quoted separately
  2. 2.Speaker Sizzle Reel

Best for: Speakers who want a published price and the fastest specialist turnaround

    Pricing: Essential Reel $1,500 (60 to 90 seconds); Signature Reel $2,950 (2 to 3 minutes, 60-second social cut); Premium Story Reel $5,000 (3 to 4 minutes). Add-ons include 48-hour rush $300, extra social cut $197, topic trailer $597 (checked October 21, 2026)

Speaker Sizzle Reel publishes three tiers ($1,500, $2,950, $5,000) and delivers in 5, 7 or 10 business days, with a 48-hour rush for $300. It edits your existing footage only. The tier you pick sets the reel length and how much footage is reviewed.

    What works

    • Transparent, published tiers
    • Fast turnaround (5 to 10 business days)
    • Cheapest specialist entry point at $1,500 for a 60 to 90 second reel

    Watch out for

    • A 2 to 3 minute reel is the $2,950 tier; 3 to 4 minutes is $5,000
    • Footage limits per tier (for example up to 60 minutes of footage on Essential)
    • No booking or outreach service published
  3. 3.Motivational Media

Best for: Speakers who want filming and editing at a flat published price

Pricing: Speaker Reel Package $3,500 flat (2:00 to 2:30 reel, 60 to 90 second sizzle, 3 to 5 vertical cuts); Keynote Filming $2,500 flat with travel included; "Zero footage to a finished reel? $6,000 all in" (checked October 21, 2026)

Matt Bauer's Motivational Media publishes everything: $3,500 for the reel package (reel, sizzle and 3 to 5 vertical cuts), $2,500 to film a keynote with travel included, and $6,000 all in if you start with no footage. Delivery is 4 to 6 weeks, which is still faster than Outspeak's stated final date.

    What works

    • Transparent flat pricing, with filming travel included
    • Package includes a sizzle cut and several vertical cuts
    • You own the deliverables

    Watch out for

    • Reel package is $3,500, and $6,000 if you need filming too
    • 4 to 6 weeks to delivery
    • One-person shop
  4. Best for: Speakers who want an established studio that can film and edit

Pricing: Not published. Their FAQ says: "You set the budget, and we'll handle the rest!" (checked October 21, 2026)

Speaker's Cut is a Pennsylvania studio that cites 15 years and thousands of speakers. It edits what you send, records keynotes and offers "Simulated Stages". Like Outspeak, it does not publish a price or turnaround, so it fixes the timeline problem only if you agree one up front.

    What works

    • Long track record (they cite 15 years and thousands of speakers)
    • Can film you as well as edit
    • Budget-flexible approach

    Watch out for

    • No published price or turnaround
    • Their FAQ asks for at least one professionally recorded keynote with good audio
    • No outreach or booking service published
  5. Best for: Speakers who want full production and longer reels

Pricing: Not published (checked October 21, 2026)

Cicospace is a Scottsdale, Arizona production house that works only with keynote speakers and thought leaders. It films keynotes, runs production theaters and simulated stages, and its example reels run roughly 4 to 6.5 minutes. No published price, and it is built around filming.

    What works

    • Keynote-only specialization
    • Full production, including staged filming when you have no footage
    • Long-form reels (their examples run roughly 4 to 6.5 minutes)

    Watch out for

    • No published pricing
    • Built around filming, which adds cost if you already have footage
    • Some planners are wary of staged audiences; ask how footage is labelled
  6. Best for: Speakers who want a quick, solo, edit-only editor

Pricing: Quote via an on-site calculator; not listed on the homepage (checked October 21, 2026)

Gusai Media is one remote editor working from footage you send, with a 1 to 2 week turnaround and rush available. Pricing comes from an on-site calculator.

    What works

    • Edit-only, remote, like us
    • Quick 1 to 2 week turnaround

    Watch out for

    • One person, so capacity is limited
    • No outreach or booking help published

Why people look for an Outspeak alternative

Credit first: Outspeak has one of the clearest points of view in this market. Its "Hook and Book Formula" is a real storytelling method, it sponsored National Speakers Association webinars in 2026, and it offers keynote recaps and social content alongside reels. Its client list includes Stephen Shapiro, Dan Chuparkoff and Pegine Echevarria. If you are an NSA regular and want a studio your peers know, it is a reasonable choice.

The reasons speakers keep shopping are practical:

No published price

You need a call to find out what an Outspeak reel costs. That is common in this industry (Speaker's Cut, Cicospace and SPKR Studio do the same), but it makes comparison hard. If you want to budget before a sales call, the studios that publish prices are Speaker Sizzle Reel, Motivational Media and Hop On Stages. Our speaker reel cost guide lists every published price we found.

The timeline

Outspeak's own site says the first review typically arrives within 19 days and the final within about 2 months. That is fine if your next bureau submission is months away. If you have an application deadline or an event season coming, a 2 to 3 week studio or a 5 to 10 business day studio fits better.

What happens after the reel

Outspeak talks about launch strategy, but no done-for-you cold outreach campaign is published on its site. If you want someone to actually pitch you to event organizers, compare Outspeak vs Speaker's Cut for the reel side and our booking outreach for the pipeline side.

How to switch

  1. 01

    Gather your footage

Collect every keynote recording, event clip, interview and testimonial you have, including anything you already sent Outspeak. Raw files beat compressed uploads.

  2. 02

Get two or three quotes on the same brief

Send each studio the same footage list and the same goal (for example, a 2 to 3 minute reel for corporate planners). Compare price, length, revisions and turnaround, not just the headline number.

  3. 03

    Watch full reels, not thumbnails

Ask for complete reels from speakers in a topic close to yours. Watch the first ten seconds with the sound off, the way many planners do.
