The best Cicospace alternatives, with real prices

Cicospace is a keynote-only production house in Scottsdale, Arizona, known for filmed keynotes, simulated stages and long-form demo reels. Speakers look for alternatives when they already have footage and do not need a production, or when they want to know the price before a call.

The options

Ranked for a speaker deciding between full production and editing what they already have. Our entry is first, with its drawbacks.

  1. 1.Hop On Stagesours

Best for: Speakers who already have footage of real talks and do not need to pay for filming

Pricing: $3,000 flat per reel, 50% to begin, 50% on completion

Cicospace's model is built around filming. Ours starts from the edit: we cut footage you already have, so you are not paying for a crew, a stage or a production day unless you need one (filming is available on a custom quote). Every reel is $3,000 flat, typically 2 to 5 minutes, with sound design, color, motion graphics and a vertical cut. Footage of a real audience reacting is also the proof planners trust most. If you want to get booked afterwards, our outreach program is a separate engagement.

    What works

    • One flat $3,000 for a 2 to 5 minute story reel, whatever the length the story needs
    • We review all the footage you send; no per-tier footage caps
    • Sound design, color, motion graphics, a vertical social cut and two rounds of revisions included
    • Optional done-for-you booking outreach that leads with your new reel

    Watch out for

    • Filming is custom-quoted, not a published package: we film or book a local crew when you need new footage, priced on top of the flat edit
    • Turnaround is 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the queue, so it is not the fastest option
    • No cheaper short-reel tier: a 60 to 90 second reel costs the same flat price
    • Booking outreach is a separate engagement, quoted separately
    • No staged or studio production if you want a polished set
  2. 2.Motivational Media

Best for: Speakers who want filming but also want a published price

Pricing: Speaker Reel Package $3,500 flat (2:00 to 2:30 reel, 60 to 90 second sizzle, 3 to 5 vertical cuts); Keynote Filming $2,500 flat with travel included; "Zero footage to a finished reel? $6,000 all in" (checked October 21, 2026)

Motivational Media films keynotes ($2,500 flat, travel included) and edits reels ($3,500 package), with $6,000 all in if you start from zero. It is a one-person shop with 20+ years in speaker video, and you own the deliverables.

    What works

    • Transparent flat pricing, with filming travel included
    • Package includes a sizzle cut and several vertical cuts
    • You own the deliverables

    Watch out for

    • Reel package is $3,500, and $6,000 if you need filming too
    • 4 to 6 weeks to delivery
    • One-person shop
  3. 3.Speaker Sizzle Reel

Best for: Speakers with footage who want the fastest specialist edit

    Pricing: Essential Reel $1,500 (60 to 90 seconds); Signature Reel $2,950 (2 to 3 minutes, 60-second social cut); Premium Story Reel $5,000 (3 to 4 minutes). Add-ons include 48-hour rush $300, extra social cut $197, topic trailer $597 (checked October 21, 2026)

If you have footage and want it fast, Speaker Sizzle Reel delivers in 5 to 10 business days at $1,500, $2,950 or $5,000 by length. Its longest tier is 3 to 4 minutes, shorter than Cicospace's typical examples.

    What works

    • Transparent, published tiers
    • Fast turnaround (5 to 10 business days)
    • Cheapest specialist entry point at $1,500 for a 60 to 90 second reel

    Watch out for

    • A 2 to 3 minute reel is the $2,950 tier; 3 to 4 minutes is $5,000
    • Footage limits per tier (for example up to 60 minutes of footage on Essential)
    • No booking or outreach service published
  4. Best for: Speakers who want staged shoots from a long-running studio

Pricing: Not published. Their FAQ says: "You set the budget, and we'll handle the rest!" (checked October 21, 2026)

Speaker's Cut is the closest like-for-like: it films keynotes, edits your footage and offers "Simulated Stages". It cites 15 years and thousands of speakers. No published price or turnaround.

    What works

    • Long track record (they cite 15 years and thousands of speakers)
    • Can film you as well as edit
    • Budget-flexible approach

    Watch out for

    • No published price or turnaround
    • Their FAQ asks for at least one professionally recorded keynote with good audio
    • No outreach or booking service published
  5. Best for: Speakers who want a cinematic, multi-camera filmed reel

Pricing: Not published (checked October 21, 2026)

SPKR Studio makes speaker demo reels with multi-camera 4K keynote filming and a cinematic, narrative style. Its site does not publish a price, location or turnaround, and it does not say whether it edits supplied footage.

    What works

    • Cinematic, narrative style
    • Multi-camera 4K filming

    Watch out for

    • No published price, location or turnaround
    • Filming-led
  6. Best for: Speakers who want a filmed package with a published price

Pricing: Speaker Starter $2,500 (one 2 to 3 minute reel, single event recording); Speaker Pro $5,500; Thought Leader $12,500 (checked October 21, 2026)

Bondars Video in Austin publishes three filmed speaker packages: $2,500, $5,500 and $12,500, with the Starter tier delivered in 2 weeks. You need an event scheduled for them to film.

    What works

    • Clear published tiers
    • Fast for a filmed package
    • Multi-camera options on higher tiers

    Watch out for

    • Packages are built around filming an event, so you need one scheduled
    • General production company rather than speaker-only
    • No speaker client list on the page

Why people look for a Cicospace alternative

Credit first: Cicospace specializes in keynote speakers and thought leaders, and it can produce a reel even if you have no footage at all, through keynote filming, production theaters and simulated stages. It says it has worked with 300+ keynote speakers, including Paul Epstein, Joan Lunden and Heather Younger, and its demo reels are long-form, roughly 4 to 6.5 minutes. For a speaker who wants a full production, that is the point.

Why speakers keep shopping:

You already have footage

If you have recordings of real talks, paying for a production day is optional. A studio that edits from your footage can build a reel from what you have. The cost difference is mostly the filming: see the speaker reel cost guide.

No published price

Cicospace does not publish prices. If you want a number before a call, Motivational Media, Bondars Video, Speaker Sizzle Reel and Hop On Stages all publish theirs.

Staged audiences

Simulated stages solve a real problem for speakers with no footage, but some planners are wary of staged audiences. If you use one, ask how the footage will be labelled. Read how event planners evaluate speaker reels.

Length

A 4 to 6 minute reel works for some buyers, but many planners watch the first 30 seconds before deciding. See how long a speaker reel should be.

How to switch

  1. 01

    Gather your footage

Collect every keynote recording, event clip, interview and testimonial you have, including anything you already sent Cicospace. Raw files beat compressed uploads.

  2. 02

Get two or three quotes on the same brief

Send each studio the same footage list and the same goal (for example, a 2 to 3 minute reel for corporate planners). Compare price, length, revisions and turnaround, not just the headline number.

  3. 03

    Watch full reels, not thumbnails

Ask for complete reels from speakers in a topic close to yours. Watch the first ten seconds with the sound off, the way many planners do.

Questions people ask

What is the best alternative to Cicospace?

If you already have footage, Hop On Stages ($3,000 flat, edited from what you have). If you want filming at a published price, Motivational Media ($6,000 all in). For a similar staged production, Speaker's Cut.

How much does Cicospace cost?

Cicospace does not publish prices. Published filmed packages elsewhere run from $2,500 (Bondars Video Starter) to $6,000 (Motivational Media, all in) and up.

Do I need a new shoot for a speaker reel?

Only if you have no usable footage of real talks. If you do, an edit is cheaper and often more convincing. See how to film your keynote if you need new footage.

Are long speaker reels better?

Not necessarily. Most of the reels we make run 2 to 5 minutes. Longer works when every minute earns its place; the first 10 to 30 seconds matter most.
