The best Speaker Sizzle Reel alternatives, with real prices

Speaker Sizzle Reel is one of the most transparent speaker reel studios online: three published tiers, fast delivery, edit-only. People look elsewhere when the tier that fits their story costs more than expected, when they want filming too, or when they want help getting booked afterwards. Here are the real alternatives.

The options

Ranked for a working speaker who already has footage of real talks. Our own entry is first, with its drawbacks listed like everyone else's.

  1. 1.Hop On Stagesours

Best for: Speakers who want a 2 to 5 minute story reel at one flat price, plus the option of booking outreach

Pricing: $3,000 flat per reel, 50% to begin, 50% on completion

Like Speaker Sizzle Reel, we edit footage you already have and work fully remotely. The difference is pricing structure: instead of tiers that fix the length and cap the footage reviewed, every reel is $3,000 flat, built to whatever length the story needs. Our published reels run from 2:10 (Keith Ferrazzi) to 4:54 (Mike Domitrz). We also run a separate booking outreach program that pitches you to event organizers with the reel.

    What works

    • One flat $3,000 for a 2 to 5 minute story reel, whatever the length the story needs
    • We review all the footage you send; no per-tier footage caps
    • Sound design, color, motion graphics, a vertical social cut and two rounds of revisions included
    • Optional done-for-you booking outreach that leads with your new reel

    Watch out for

    • Filming is custom-quoted, not a published package: we film or book a local crew when you need new footage, priced on top of the flat edit
    • Turnaround is 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the queue, so it is not the fastest option
    • No cheaper short-reel tier: a 60 to 90 second reel costs the same flat price
    • Booking outreach is a separate engagement, quoted separately
    • Slower than Speaker Sizzle Reel's 5 to 10 business days, and no published 48-hour rush
  2. 2.Motivational Media

Best for: Speakers who need filming and editing from one person, at a flat published price

Pricing: Speaker Reel Package $3,500 flat (2:00 to 2:30 reel, 60 to 90 second sizzle, 3 to 5 vertical cuts); Keynote Filming $2,500 flat with travel included; "Zero footage to a finished reel? $6,000 all in" (checked October 21, 2026)

Matt Bauer has produced speaker video for more than 20 years. The $3,500 Speaker Reel Package includes a 2:00 to 2:30 reel, a 60 to 90 second sizzle and 3 to 5 vertical cuts. If you have no usable footage, he will film your keynote ($2,500 flat, travel included) and the whole job is $6,000 all in. It is slower than Speaker Sizzle Reel, at 4 to 6 weeks from your final upload.

    What works

    • Transparent flat pricing, with filming travel included
    • Package includes a sizzle cut and several vertical cuts
    • You own the deliverables

    Watch out for

    • Reel package is $3,500, and $6,000 if you need filming too
    • 4 to 6 weeks to delivery
    • One-person shop
  3. Best for: Speakers who want a solo, edit-only editor with a quick turnaround

Pricing: Quote via an on-site calculator; not listed on the homepage (checked October 21, 2026)

Gusai Media is a one-person remote studio that says plainly, "I'm an editor only." Turnaround is 1 to 2 weeks from receiving footage, close to Speaker Sizzle Reel's speed. Pricing comes from a calculator on the site rather than a published list, so you will need to run your own numbers.

    What works

    • Edit-only, remote, like us
    • Quick 1 to 2 week turnaround

    Watch out for

    • One person, so capacity is limited
    • No outreach or booking help published
  4. Best for: Speakers in the NSA community who want a defined storytelling method and launch strategy

Pricing: Not published (checked October 21, 2026)

Outspeak is a speaker-focused post-production studio built around its "Hook and Book Formula". It also produces keynote recaps and social content, and it can arrange filming through teams around the country. Price is not published, and its own timeline is a first review in about 19 days with the final in about 2 months, so it suits speakers who are not in a hurry.

    What works

    • Clear storytelling method (their "Hook and Book Formula")
    • Visible in the National Speakers Association community (sponsored NSA webinars in 2026)
    • Offers keynote recaps and social content alongside reels

    Watch out for

    • Price is not published, so you need a call to compare
    • Timeline to final can run about 2 months
    • No done-for-you cold outreach campaign published
  5. Best for: Speakers who want a long-established studio that can film, edit, or both

Pricing: Not published. Their FAQ says: "You set the budget, and we'll handle the rest!" (checked October 21, 2026)

Speaker's Cut, near Philadelphia, cites 15 years and thousands of speakers. It edits footage you send, records keynotes on site, and offers "Simulated Stages". It publishes no price or turnaround ("You set the budget, and we'll handle the rest!"), and its FAQ asks for at least one professionally recorded keynote with good audio.

    What works

    • Long track record (they cite 15 years and thousands of speakers)
    • Can film you as well as edit
    • Budget-flexible approach

    Watch out for

    • No published price or turnaround
    • Their FAQ asks for at least one professionally recorded keynote with good audio
    • No outreach or booking service published
  6. Best for: Speakers on a tight budget who can direct the edit themselves

Pricing: Category listings "From $100"; individual speaker reel gigs seen at $50 to $70; "Vetted Pro" editors from $500 (checked October 21, 2026)

Fiverr has speaker reel and showreel editing gigs from about $50 to $70, with "Vetted Pro" editors from $500. That is far below any specialist. The trade-off is that you supply the story, the structure and the creative direction, and quality varies a lot from seller to seller.

    What works

    • Lowest cost
    • Huge choice of editors
    • Fast for simple edits

    Watch out for

    • Most editors are generalists, not speaker-marketing specialists
    • You supply the story, structure and creative direction
    • Quality varies widely between sellers

Why people look for a Speaker Sizzle Reel alternative

Credit first: Speaker Sizzle Reel publishes its prices, footage limits, revision counts and turnaround for every tier, which almost no one else in this market does. It is fast (5, 7 or 10 business days, with a $300 48-hour rush), it works only with speakers and coaches, and it says it has made 200+ reels. If its tiers fit you, it is a solid choice.

The reasons speakers keep shopping usually come down to fit:

The length you want sits in a higher tier

Each tier fixes the reel length. A 60 to 90 second reel is $1,500, but a 2 to 3 minute reel is $2,950 and a 3 to 4 minute story reel is $5,000. Many planners and bureaus expect 2 to 4 minutes (see how long a speaker reel should be), so the entry price is not always the real price.

You have more footage than the tier reviews

Essential reviews up to 60 minutes of footage from one event, Signature up to 3 hours and Premium up to 6 hours, with extra review at $75 per hour. If you have years of recordings, that cap shapes what makes the cut.

You need filming

Speaker Sizzle Reel is edit-only. If you have nothing usable, you need someone to film first. We can do that on a custom quote (our own shoot or a crew local to you, plus a venue if needed). If you want a published filming price up front, Motivational Media lists one, or you can hire a local videographer and send the files to an editor. Our guide to making a reel without professional footage covers the cheaper routes.

You want help getting booked

No booking or outreach service is published on its site. If you want the reel put in front of event organizers, that is a different kind of provider: see how to get booked as a keynote speaker.

How to switch

  1. 01

    Gather your footage

Collect every keynote recording, event clip, interview and testimonial you have, including anything you already sent Speaker Sizzle Reel. Raw files beat compressed uploads.

  2. 02

Get two or three quotes on the same brief

Send each studio the same footage list and the same goal (for example, a 2 to 3 minute reel for corporate planners). Compare price, length, revisions and turnaround, not just the headline number.

  3. 03

    Watch full reels, not thumbnails

Ask for complete reels from speakers in a topic close to yours. Watch the first ten seconds with the sound off, the way many planners do.

What is the best alternative to Speaker Sizzle Reel?

For a 2 to 5 minute story reel from footage you already have, Hop On Stages ($3,000 flat, two rounds of revisions, vertical cut included). If you need filming, Motivational Media ($6,000 all in). For a fast solo editor, Gusai Media (1 to 2 weeks).

Is there a cheaper alternative to Speaker Sizzle Reel?

Freelance marketplaces are cheaper: Fiverr gigs start around $50 to $70 and Vetted Pro editors from $500. Among specialist studios, Speaker Sizzle Reel's $1,500 Essential tier is the lowest published price we found, though it covers a 60 to 90 second reel.

Which alternative is fastest?

Speaker Sizzle Reel itself is fast (5 to 10 business days, 48-hour rush for $300). Gusai Media quotes 1 to 2 weeks. Hop On Stages is 2 to 3 weeks. Motivational Media is 4 to 6 weeks and Outspeak about 2 months to final.

Can I switch studios halfway through a reel?

Yes, as long as you still have the original footage. Ask your current studio for any selects or project notes, then send the raw files to the new editor.
