The best SpeakerHUB alternatives, with real prices

SpeakerHUB is one of the cheapest ways to get a speaker profile and a database of opportunities, and it charges no commission. People look for alternatives when they realise the self-serve plans still leave the pitching to them, or when they want done-for-you help with a published price and no 3-month commitment.

The options

Ranked for a working speaker who wants more paid engagements. Our entry is first, with its drawbacks.

  1. 1.Hop On Stagesours

Best for: Speakers who want outreach done for them, led by a reel that sells

Pricing: Quoted separately from the reel, based on your goals. Reels are $3,000 flat

SpeakerHUB gives you a database and tools; we do the outreach. We research event organizers, associations and bureaus that fit your topic and run cold email campaigns to decision-makers, with your reel in every pitch. Keith Ferrazzi's campaigns produced, in his words, "somewhere close to 81 qualified leads" with CXO-level conversations at companies including L'Oréal, Hitachi and Twitch. Steve Taubman landed a paid invitation to a professional society's annual meeting in New York City.

    What works

    • Done for you: we research decision-makers and run the cold email campaigns
    • Every pitch leads with your reel, which we can also make
    • Named results: Keith Ferrazzi, in his words, "somewhere close to 81 qualified leads"
    • Not a bureau, so no commission on your fees

    Watch out for

    • Price is quoted, not published, because it depends on your goals
    • A done-for-you program costs more than a self-serve subscription
    • No booking guarantees (nobody honest can guarantee a booking)
    • Works best once you have a strong reel; the reel is a separate $3,000
  2. Best for: Speakers in the $5k to $20k fee range who want AI-assisted cold email

Pricing: Not published ("See If You Qualify") (checked October 21, 2026)

Speakhyve is the closest done-for-you alternative: an AI-assisted cold email and LinkedIn system for speakers, with an AI reply agent, built in 14 days per its site. It claims to have "booked over 1,000 paid engagements" (self-reported). No price or named clients are published.

    What works

    • Specialized in cold outreach for speakers
    • Combines email, LinkedIn and an AI reply agent
    • States it targets speakers in the $5k to $20k fee range

    Watch out for

    • No published price or named clients on the page
    • The page states daily volume two ways ("200-500 emails a day" and "500+")
    • No reel production, so your pitch relies on whatever video you have
  3. Best for: Speakers who want to be findable in a marketplace bureaus use

Pricing: eSpeakers PRO: "$60 for 60 days, a fraction of the regular $119/month price"; basic accounts available, including through associations (checked October 21, 2026)

eSpeakers is an established marketplace and set of business tools used by speakers and bureaus. A basic account is available, including through associations, and PRO was offered at "$60 for 60 days" against a regular $119/month. It is mostly passive: you wait to be found, and search ranking is points-based.

    What works

    • Established marketplace that bureaus use
    • Profile and calendar tools
    • Free basic accounts via associations

    Watch out for

    • Mostly passive: you wait to be found
    • Search ranking is points-based
    • PRO is $119/month at the regular price
  4. Best for: Speakers who want curated open calls and a money-back guarantee

    Pricing: Silver $30 per 4 weeks (or $325/yr); Gold $50 per 4 weeks ($520/yr); Platinum $80 per 4 weeks ($845/yr). A 25% discount was showing when checked (checked October 21, 2026)

SpeakerMatch is a paid membership to browse and apply to open calls for speakers, from $30 per 4 weeks, with an 8-week money-back guarantee and no commission. You apply alongside many other speakers, and an older industry report found most listings were low or no fee.

    What works

    • Inexpensive
    • 8-week money-back guarantee
    • No commission

    Watch out for

    • You apply to open calls alongside many other speakers
    • An older industry report found most listings were low or no fee
    • You write and send every application yourself
  5. 5.Axia Public Relations

Best for: Speakers who mainly want unpaid, visibility-building stages

Pricing: Speaker Membership $2,250 per month plus booking bonuses ($750 / $2,000 / $5,000 tiers); Pitch project $12,500 one-time; photos plus reel add-on "$15,000-$20,000 ... plus your travel expenses" (checked October 21, 2026)

Axia Public Relations runs a real done-for-you pitch team: $2,250 per month plus booking bonuses, up to 3 opportunities per month. Its own page says the typical client is mostly interested in unpaid (earned) engagements, and cancellation needs 90 days' notice.

    What works

    • Real done-for-you pitch team
    • PR agency resources
    • Clear published pricing

  6. Best for: Speakers who want to learn to book themselves

Pricing: Not published (sales call) (checked October 21, 2026)

The Speaker Lab (Grant Baldwin) teaches you how to find and pitch events yourself, with a large community and free content. You keep the skills, but you still do the outreach. Price requires a sales call.

    What works

    • Large community (they cite 17,000+ experts)
    • Strong free content and podcast
    • Teaches skills you keep

    Watch out for

    • You still do the outreach yourself
    • Price requires a sales call

Why people look for a SpeakerHUB alternative

Credit first: SpeakerHUB is very good value. The Free plan is $0, Credibility is $19/mo and Outreach is $47/mo, with lifetime options from $249. It cites 44,000+ conferences in its database, claims 60,000+ speakers, and charges no booking commission. For a new speaker building a profile, it is an easy first step.

Why speakers keep shopping:

A database is not a pipeline

Self-serve plans give you leads to work. You still research the right contact, write the pitch, follow up and track replies. Many speakers sign up, send a handful of applications and stall. Our guide to how to find paid speaking engagements covers the work involved.

The done-for-you option is opaque

SpeakerHUB has a separate done-for-you VA agency, but its price is not shown and "All plans have a 3-month commitment". If you want done-for-you, compare it with other options on scope and proof.

Open calls are crowded

Listings that anyone can apply to attract many applicants. Direct outreach to a decision-maker who was not advertising is a different channel: see cold email for speakers.

Your reel decides the reply

Whatever platform you use, the planner clicks your video. If your reel is weak, fix that first: see what to include in a speaker reel.

Questions people ask

What is the best alternative to SpeakerHUB?

If you want outreach done for you, Hop On Stages (done-for-you cold email that leads with your reel, quoted separately). For a marketplace listing bureaus use, eSpeakers. For curated open calls, SpeakerMatch (from $30 per 4 weeks).

Is SpeakerHUB worth it?

At $19 to $47 per month it is worth trying if you will put in the hours to pitch. If you will not, a cheap subscription you do not use is still wasted money.

Does SpeakerHUB take a commission?

No. SpeakerHUB charges subscription fees, not booking commission. Hop On Stages does not take commission either; speakers bureaus commonly take 20% to 30%.

Does SpeakerHUB have a done-for-you service?

Yes, a separate VA agency. Its price is not shown on the site, and all plans have a 3-month commitment.
